Denzel Ward cleared the concussion protocol and was active for the team’s Week 9 loss to the Chargers. Prior to the game, the team placed linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah on injured reserve.

The team was without starting left tackle Jedrick Wills, Jr. and linebacker Jordan Hicks in Week 8. Wills remained sidelined with a knee injury and Dawand Jones started in his place. Hicks played in Week 7 in spite of elbow and triceps issues, but was sidelined this past week. Devin Bush saw an increase in playing time due to that injury.
During Sunday’s win over the Ravens, cornerback Denzel Ward suffered a concussion, which resulted in Cameron Mitchell seeing more playing time. Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah suffered a neck injury that resulted in him being hospitalized overnight. He appears to have avoided a worst-case scenario, but his status moving forward is unclear in the short term.
Linebacker Mohamoud Diabate played well in his increased role due to injuries.
