The latest installment of the rivalry is upon us
The Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to meet in one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the 2024 NFL season. Kansas City remains as the league’s last unbeaten team, sitting at 9-0. The Bills, meanwhile, are 8-2 and riding a five-game winning streak.
Buffalo’s bye week comes after this game, but there isn’t a soul in red, white, and blue looking ahead to the week off. The Chiefs are an underdog for the first time this season, and in fact, it’s the only game this year where the Chiefs are projected to be an underdog. That’s sure to prove a motivating factor in a game where neither squad needs any additional motivation.
It’s Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes. It’s the offensive play calls of Joe Brady vs. the defensive wizardry of Steve Spagnuolo. It’s the master, Andy Reid, vs. his mentee, Sean McDermott. It’s the best non-divisional rivalry in the game, and it’s one where the Bills have found success in the regular-season (3-1 since 2020), but not in the postseason (0-3 over that same span). Bills vs. Chiefs has been football at its best of late, and it’s coming at us momentarily.
