Ahead of Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline, the phones at Paycor Stadium are reportedly ringing. With the season starting off on a less than ideal note and several players requesting trades, teams are reportedly calling the Bengals to gauge their interest in making a deal.

Knowing the Bengals, it would be safe to assume they won’t make any moves, but a contending team that thinks a player on Cincinnati’s roster could get them to the next level could make an offer the Bengals can’t refuse.

With Trey Hendrickson’s future in Cincinnati uncertain and Logan Wilson’s recent trade request, it is no surprise that most of the calls the Bengals are fielding are centered around those two. The Bengals’ front office has been unwilling to move Hendrickson in any deal that doesn’t include a first round pick, but there have been reports that they would be willing to move on from Wilson.

The Athletic’s Diana Russini reports that the Bengals have taken calls from multiple teams for Cam Taylor-Britt, Wilson and of course Hendrickson.

“Many teams, including the Rams, 49ers, Colts and Eagles have called the Bengals on numerous players, including LB Logan Wilson, CB Cam Taylor-Britt and, of course, DE Trey Hendrickson. For now, some teams don’t believe Cincinnati has any real interest in moving its core pieces,” Russini wrote.

The Bengals are only going to make trades they feel they very clearly won. For Hendrickson to be moved at this point, it would have to be a deal that was heavily lopsided in Cincinnati’s favor. Would a team that feels they are a pass rusher away be willing to make such an offer?

Wilson could be an instant contributor on a different team after being benched in favor of Barrett Carter. With two years remaining on his contract after this season, a team could have Wilson on their roster for essentially two and a half years if they feel he’s worth making a move on.

Taylor-Britt has struggled since the 2024 season and was even a healthy scratch at one point this season. Losing playing time to Josh Newton and the fact that Taylor-Britt’s contract expires after this season could make the Bengals inclined to move him, should a team feel it is worth the gamble.

The chances of the Bengals making a trade before Tuesday’s deadline are fairly slim, but it does feel more likely this season than any season in the past. There is a changing of the guard on defense, and if the Bengals don’t see these players in their plans for 2026, getting something in return for them would make sense.

The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, November 4th, at 4:00 PM ET
