LaNorris Sellers is a magical prospect to watch and try and evaluate. For starters, Sellers has been pressured on 47.8% of his dropbacks this season, the highest by nearly 15% in the country. Undre Pressure, Sellers has been poor but his large sample size shows flashes of brilliance as well. A year removed from a 66% completion, 2534 yards, 18 TD, 7 INT, and over 800 rushing yards with 7 TD Sellers has a ton of traits that make him interesting. Sellers has prototypical NFL size at 6’3, 240 and he looks all of it with a well built frame and good solid strength. To pair with his size, Sellers has an elite level of athleticism with exceptional movement skills and running ability. Sellers displays high end ability to accelerate out of cuts and has true 4.4 speed at the quarterback position. Sellers is able to work and extend plays with his legs, scramble for large chunks, and also work as a designed runner in the offensive system. Additionally, Sellers shows the ability to utilize his legs well in the pocket and has the ability to step up and evade pressure, move to his left or right and extend the play well. While moving, Sellers continues to keep his eyes downfield and can find open targets, while also having the knowledge and awareness to throw the ball away, take his checkdown, or convert to a full time runner.
